to live and grow in a peaceful, non-violent home environment.
WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR THE FOLLOWING PART TIME POST IN OUR
SERVICE:
CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLES? SUPPORT WORKER
We are looking for a qualified, committed individual who is passionate
about working with Children & Young People, to work as part of the
Children & Young People?s Service?s team to ensure consistent care
and support for children and young people using the service. The
successful candidate will have ability to work alone and in team
settings to provide a therapeutic environment for children and young
people who are experiencing domestic violence.
The post is part time based on **Apply on the website** hours per
week. The candidates will be required to be reliable and flexible
regarding their hours of work and duties assigned. The working hours
will be determined by the need of the service and there may be
occasion to work in the evening or over a weekend

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:
* Relevant third level qualification at degree LEVEL 7 in the area of
Early Childhood Studies
* _2 - 3 years? experience working with children and families._
And
* Ability to assess the support needs of children & young people
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to be reactive to the
needs of the children & young people.
* Ability to engage with a variety of professional and individuals
to provide a holistic & integrated response to the needs of children &
young people
* Be committed to work in partnership with mothers
* Computer literate
* Report writing abilities
